Leo in Relationships - I

This blog article is about Leo's & how they are in relationships.

A Leo is regal, proud, enthusiastic, opinionated, patronizing, benevolent, authoritative, with an inherent desire to always be center- stage. They have a lot to give, but also need a lot.

Leo’s don’t make friends easily. They have many acquaintances but take time to make friends. They are very selective, as friendships and relationships are important and meaningful to them, and they are long lasting. Trust is very important to them.

Arrogant, snobbish, with a compulsive urge to control. Once their opinions are formed they rarely change. They do not like criticism of any kind, and find it very difficult to handle.

Leos are loyal, kind, generous, sincere, self- confident, dynamic, impulsive, impatient, egotistical, and vulnerable to false praise.

The danger is when your dominating nature becomes excessive and you become over-bearing and autocratic.

This is all about Leos and their relationship with other zodiac signs.

 A very general, sweeping categorization-

You find it easiest to relate with people of the same element (fire) as you. Ie.  Leo, Aries, Sagittarius. You will have a good relationship with people of the Air element, ie. Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.    The others of the Water element (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces), and the Earth element (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.) you will get along with a little less.

The ones you will get along with the best are Leo’s as they will be very similar to you, and Aquarians as they are diametrically opposite, but complementary to you.

         Cancer in Relationships - 

CANCER -------------CANCER

This is a happy, caring, lasting relationship. You will have a great connect, but both will need to curb their mutual moodiness. You are both so similar,  nostalgic and with a tendency  to live in the past, that you will need to be consciously alert. Otherwise you may find yourselves in a rut, leading a humdrum life. You are both loyal and family oriented.

CANCER -------------LEO

This is a good, stimulating relationship. You are the perfect foil for each other, with the Leo having the ability to bring you out of your cocoon. Don’t let Leo push you around. Leo is outgoing, whereas you are over-sensitive.  The area that will need compromising in this relationship is how to handle your finances. As long as you don’t try to change each other this is a very nurturing relationship.

CANCER -------------VIRGO

This is an excellent, rewarding relationship. You are both caring and conservative. Virgo needs privacy and freedom, whereas you are caring and possessive. The Virgo will need some space, and will lash out if they don’t get it.   As long as you don’t let the Virgo criticism hurt or stunt you, and take it in your stride, life will be good.

CANCER -------------LIBRA

This is an interesting relationship as you are very different but yet similarly attuned. It will not be a happy relationship as you will need to make all the adjustments.  Virgo is all about logic and you are all about emotions. You both have a lot to learn from each other, and together you would make a great team.

CANCER -------------SCORPIO

A good relationship wherein both of you thrive. You trust each other implicitly. Although your motivations are different, you are both very similar, and will need to give space to each other. It is essential that both of you make the adjustments -forgive and forget is the best policy.

CANCER -------------SAGITTARIUS

This is a relationship of opposites. The Sagittarian is tactless and wants freedom, whereas you are very sensitive and want to cling. Being so different, yet you are compatible. If you both learn to walk the middle path then this difficult relationship can become a very fulfilling one.

CANCER -------------CAPRICORN   

This is an interesting relationship, a case of opposites attracting. Although very different personalities you do get along very well. The Capricorn is practical whereas you are emotional. This is a good, secure relationship where you both have a lot to give to each other.

CANCER -------------AQUARIUS

This is not an easy relationship. You are miles apart. The Aquarian is much too eccentric, and wants to know every detail. You are too conservative and moody. Both of you are unpredictable, and will  have to put in effort and make great adjustments to make this relationship work.

CANCER -------------PISCES

You both have a good, instinctive understanding. Both of you are conservative, sentimental, and moody, but your take on finance is diametrically opposite. There will be a need for both of you to pull yourselves up, and if you put in the effort you will make a great team.

CANCER -------------ARIES

This is an unpredictable relationship. Aries needs challenges, where as you need stability. You could complement each other, or frustrate each other to the point of no return. It can go either way. If you are both willing to understand each other and work on your relationship then this could really work.

CANCER -------------TAURUS

A successful relationship as you both have the same values, and appreciate the same things. The problem arises because of your sensitiveness and moodiness which Taurus is unable to fathom. If you both decide to make your relationship work it will be very harmonious.

CANCER -------------GEMINI

This is an erratic relationship where you will both need to put in a lot of effort to make it work. You both want different things in life. You want stability, whereas Gemini wants change and freedom. If both of you learn from each other and are prepared to make adjustments then this can become a superb relationship.

Cancer ~ Relationships

A Cancerian is sensitive, emotional, sensual, moody, insecure, kindhearted, sentimental, nostalgic, protective and caring best describes you.  An excellent memory. 

You are sensitive and easily hurt by any sign of rejection- and never forget if someone ignores or slights you. 

You are good at forming long-lasting partnerships.

 Outwardly charming and friendly, you are in reality shy and hide behind a shell and tend to keep new social contacts at arm’s length. When you get to know someone better then firm friendships can develop.

You have the knack of turning a group of friends into something very like a family circle as you have the ability to patch up differences between your friends when things go wrong.

You are basically a home body and like to spend quiet time with your loved ones (without any distractions) . Home and family have a special meaning for you.

It is not that you are lonely and/or unfulfilled when alone, but that you would like to get married and settle down with a permanent partner. You are always ready to give and to nurture, and will have great difficulty in breaking a relationship.

The danger is when your protective nature becomes excessive and you become over-protective and start clinging, and stifling the other person.

This is all about the Cancerian and their relationship with other zodiac signs.

Gemini (1-20June)

Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Readers,

If you are born between 1^st June- 20^th June you are a Gemini, and ruled by Mercury and Moon. 

Together, these two planetary influences make you impulsive and rash, and at the same time very emotional. 
Unlike other combinations these two don’t pull you in opposing directions, but they do cause you a lot of heartache.  



Mercury wants you heading out, wanting your freedom. Whereas the Moon has you craving for home and hearth.  As you mature you will be able to reconcile your restless, carefree nature with the caring and nurturing side of your personality.

You are very imaginative and sometimes lose track of the line between reality and fantasy.- between what you have and what you want. Indeed, it is a very rare Gemini for whom this line is not blurred!

You are outwardly cool, calm, and collected, but at heart you are really a child wanting to be known and loved for yourself. You are basically insecure and feel that others don’t reciprocate in the same manner. That they don’t do enough for you. You are burdened with the feeling that your life is one of  having to help, and be there for others, while they are not there for you. You feel unappreciated, put upon, and taken for granted. You need to be needed, to be appreciated.

You are practical and materialistic, but the one trait that you tend to ignore is the fact that you  know how to manipulate things in your favor.

Gemini (21-31 May)

Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Readers,

If you are born between 21^ST May- 31^st May  you are a Gemini, and a “true” child of Mercury, meaning that Mercury alone has a very strong influence on you.

As a child of Mercury you excel at all forms of communication and have a quick- silver mind, are active and always multi- tasking, very persuasive, manipulative, and difficult to fathom. It is a very rare person who can keep up with you. 

You love a good challenge, and are not averse to taking risks. You find it difficult to make a commitment and to hold true to it.

You are vivacious, volatile, restless, impulsive, loyal, generous, capricious, and arrogant. You have a tendency to prevaricate. Your mind is always ahead of your actions. Intellectual communication is very important for you. The one thing you cannot cope with is boredom.

It is difficult for anyone to understand or know your next move, as you yourself don’t know what you’ll be doing. Basically, the answer is whatever catches your interest.

You tend to scatter your energy and your resources by learning and doing a lot of things, but not completing any of them. Gemini (II)

If you are born between 21^st May -20^th June  you are a Gemini (both the dates are inclusive). An important point to remember is that if you were born during a cusp, ie. in the first or last 7 days of a zodiac sign, you will have traits of both the signs, with one of them being more dominant.

Being a Gemini your ruling planet is Mercury, your symbol is the Twins. Your keywords are freedom, restlessness, always active, dependable, anxious, and sensitive. You are observant, curious, charming, and popular.

It is difficult to pin down a Gemini. You love sports, but are also a bookworm. You excel in working with your hands and at the same time you need constant mental stimulation. You excel at multi- tasking.

Your duality is expressed in the extremes of your personality. On the one level you are bright, alert, fun loving, and on another level so depressed and miserable. Always seeming calm and collected you are the soul at parties, but basically at heart you are very lonely. You want to be known and loved for yourself.

The Gemini Child

Dear Isheeria Healing Circle’s Readers,

If your child is born between 21^st May  and 20^THJune  he/she is a Gemini.  Active, restless, and versatile. Vivacious, but liable to mood swings. Lively, and fun loving. Good communicators.  They need lots of company, yours and their friends’.

 Friendly, alert, inquisitive, energetic, sociable, charming, easy going and talkative. Sensitive, expressive, and capable. They cannot resist a dare or a challenge.

 A Geminian is independent from an early age, and resents any interference. They are often one step ahead of everyone else- either academically or in understanding their surroundings. Lovers of knowledge , they should have a superior education. But are apt to lack continuity. With their unquenchable thirst for knowledge they tend to question everything. It is best to always answer their questions and give logical answers. It is not unusual to find them ambidextrous. The Gemini child does not like strict discipline, and has no qualms in making their complaints heard.

 As Gemini  is the sign of the twins,  your child will seem to be contrary, and in two places at the same time. To keep them still  in one place is a herculean task. You cannot confine a Geminian child- physically or emotionally. Restraints and constraints can lead them to become depressive. And coming out of depression will not be easy. Praise is essential for them. They will likely keep you on your toes, and run you ragged!

They are quick to learn and progress. Being very talkative they need to sit quietly and listen too. And learn to share the centre stage. A bored Gemini will quickly resort to destructive behavior to break the monotony.  Gemini’s are good communicators, but tend not to share their emotions and inner feelings.
