'1-21 December' Sagittarian

Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Readers,
If you are born between 1st Dec – 21st Dec. you are a Sagittarius, and ruled by Jupiter and Saturn. This makes you not only a bundle of contradictions, but a wholly loveable person. Jupiter makes you the carefree, exuberant person who dislikes any kind of restriction and discipline. But Saturn on the other hand makes you take on your responsibilities, and ensures that you fulfill your duties.
Jupiter makes you think of only yourself, and your priorities. Your restless nature doesn’t allow you to complete anything and see it through to completion. With your interest having moved on, you find it difficult to stay focused on what you had begun. Whereas, Saturn makes you a snob, wanting to be the best.  Saturn makes you take care of the details and not leave anything halfway through.
This combination of Jupiter and Saturn will lead to restlessness and frustration in you. This combination of yearning for the opposite trends of freedom and responsibility is what draws people to you—your innate understanding of other people’s dilemma. It is what makes you so popular.Blessed Be!

'23-30 November' Sagittarian

Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Readers,
If you are born between 23rd Nov– 30th Nov you are a Sagittarian and a “true” child of Jupiter, meaning that Jupiter alone has a very strong influence on you. As a child of Jupiter you have a need to feel that you are “free”—even if you do nothing about it!! Discipline, routine, rules make you feel stifled and boxed in. You will rebel against any form of restriction.
You tend to be tactless, overconfident, egoistic, and prone to exaggeration. You are bright, outgoing, popular, have a quick temper, are witty, versatile, and restless. You need to be constantly on the move, if not physically then definitely mentally.
You are warm, friendly, charming and need challenges to make you feel complete. You need your space and your freedom, the knowledge that you are not tied down. You are afraid to make a commitment, to become answerable.
You don’t shy away from confrontations, verbal or physical. In fact you love them. On the surface you are quick to forgive and forget, but in reality you don’t ever forgive. However long it takes you will exact your revenge.
You need to be successful, to be the focus of attention. To be the person calling the shots.
Blessed Be!

Sagittarius

Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Reader,

If you are born between 23rd Nov—21st Dec. you are a Sagittarius (both the dates are inclusive). An important point to remember is that if you were born during a cusp, i.e. in the first or last 7 days of a zodiac sign, you will have traits of both the signs, with one of them being more dominant.
sagittarius300_yoko_furusho_text
Being a Sagittarius, your ruling planet is Jupiter, your symbol is the Archer (and the Centaur). Your keyword is Freedom. You are a wanderer at heart, always seeking greener pastures, and the next adventure. You are unconventional, enthusiastic, and persuasive. Outspoken, honest, loyal, idealistic, combative, impulsive, bold, determined, high-tempered, undiplomatic, popular, confident, generous, ambitious, and the eternal student. Music is an integral part of your life.
You also tend to be overconfident. Boastful. Don’t cope well with the small details. Curious. Love an argument. Lack concentration, and love nature and animals.
If you do not remain physically and mentally active you tend to become morbid, unsocial, discontented and fault-finding.
Sagittarius is a “dual” sign, making duality a strong characteristic. It also gives you versatility and restlessness. There are two kinds of Sagittarians- the sporting, risk-taking type and the intellectual kind. But in reality they are a mix of these two traits with one of them being very prominent. They can also develop from the former to the latter.
Sagittarians are lucky for themselves and for others. They are big thinkers, and want it all – money, name, fame, glamour, prestige, and public acclaim.  They either attract or create wealth. But, mere wealth is not enough, they want luxury.  Hence, it is essential that they develop practical and efficient ways of working. Improving their managerial and organizational skills is a must for them to achieve success.
In friendships your loyalty, trust, and friendship are a package deal. They come hand-in-hand with your affection. You like the romance, but not the commitment and trappings of marriage. In a relationship you are warm, open, friendly, charming, and not very faithful as you keep looking for new horizons, new adventures, new experiences, and new people. You need someone who will give you your space, is as independent as you, and who will respect you and not be petty or nagging. You need to feel that you are free.
As a parent you start liking and enjoying the children once they begin to interact with you. Setting routines and discipline for your children is a daunting task. You expect too much from your children and push them hard to excel.  You encourage your children to explore, take risks, travel. You will be more of a friend to them than a parent.
You are happiest in a career which gives you freedom and intellectual stimulation.  Travel guide, teacher, philosopher, Guru, lawyer, interpreter, PR consultant, writer, publisher, bookseller, working in the sports arena or in a casino.
You should avoid damp places as you are susceptible to weakness in your chest and lungs, sciatica, rheumatic pains. You need to take extra care regarding your liver, as over-indulgence can lead to health issues.
      Your Planet- Jupiter.
Your Element- Fire.      Your Lucky Day- Thursday.      Your Lucky Number- 3.      Your Lucky Colours- Purple. Violet. Pink.    Your Lucky Gemstones- Yellow Topaz. Amethyst.
Blessed Be!

THE SAGITTARIUS CHILD

Dear Isheeria’s Healing Circles Readers,

If your child is born between 23rd Nov and 21st Dec.  he/she is a Sagittarian. Bold, fearless, determined, combative, decisive. Will hate secrets and dishonesty of any kind (but not above tweaking facts themselves!). They are outgoing, social, popular, quick-witted and curious.

Adventurous, sporting, optimistic, loves debates, taking risks, is courageous and accident-prone. They rarely sit still. They are always involved, always doing something, always asking questions.

The Sagittarian child does not like to give in or admit to their mistakes. They are strong minded, independent, caring, humorous, and not tactful. They have quick tempers, but will readily forgive and forget. They do not take opposition kindly.

To your child the most important factor is Freedom.  Freedom in all forms—in thought, in speech, and in action. They will feel stifled if kept in a closed environment, made to follow rules and regulations (they believe that rules are made to be broken), or kept at home under restrictions. They will definitely rebel! You will need to give solid reasoning to convince them. They need open spaces and the freedom and independence to move about freely.  And remember, they respect honesty above everything.

You will require lots of patience and will need to spend time with your child. They require quiet guidance for they will resist any form of advice. They need a cause, a reason for being. They are erratic, as they have bursts of interest and energy. They lack follow-through. Hence, you need to teach them the importance of completing tasks and seeing things through. Teach them perseverance. You have to keep them occupied, but don’t leave them to their own devices.
Teach them economy, as not only are they generous but also extravagant.

Fun-loving, extrovert, excitable, they need to be the focus of attention. They are easily bored and distracted, and find it difficult to conform to routines and discipline. Ensure that they do not feel stifled. You need to motivate them. To encourage their enthusiasm, so as to sustain their efforts. If you give them plenty of rope, they will be honest and open with you.

If isolated i.e. without too much interaction with other people they will likely withdraw, become defiant and sarcastic.

Teach them to be polite, tactful, diplomatic, responsible, and to persevere. They will flex their wings early, so be prepared.  And they will fly their roost, at some time in their life. If not at an early stage, then definitely later.

Blessed Be!

The Scorpio Child

baby-scorpio
Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Readers,

If your child is born between 23rd Oct and 22nd Nov he/she is a Scorpio. Complex, secretive, moody, volatile, the Scorpio child is emotional and feels very deeply, but tend to keep their feelings hidden.
This Mars child is the most intense and passionate sign of the zodiac and has tremendous endurance and resilience. They don’t accept “no” easily, and see things in “black and white” which makes life pretty difficult for them. They are also the most misunderstood. They are drawn to what is forbidden—be it electrical sockets, drugs etc.

Even as a child your Scorpio child will want their own way—with flattery and by manipulation (in which they are masters!!) they will somehow always manage to get what they want.
They are wise beyond their years and once motivated they will forge ahead and not rest till they have achieved their goal. Compromise is not one of their virtues. They love a challenge, and are not hesitant to pick a fight.

They tend to be very possessive hence, if you have a new addition to the family please remember that they will feel insecure and threatened, and will either withdraw deep into a shell, or throw tantrums and behave unruly. You will need to foster their relationships especially with siblings. Teach them to be caring from the beginning. Their sense of insecurity is very deep and leads them to be envious, and if not checked in them early can lead to a spiteful and vindictive nature.

You will need to establish the “rules”—the standard of behavior and the habits that they inculcate as children will remain with them throughout life. If you are consistent in your dealings with them they will feel secure around you.

They need constant and firm discipline, and lots of affection and support. Keep them active physically and mentally.  They have strong will-power, are determined, and the only way to make them see reason is with logic. Don’t push them too hard. Teach them self- control.

Blessed Be!

Happy Dhanteras!

Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Readers,
Welcome to the FESTIVE SEASON of 2015!  The season of lights, prayers, prosperity and celebrations!
dhanteras
While we all enjoy the commercial elements of the festivals, somewhere, with our busy schedules, we seem to have forgotten the actual meaning of the festival, and follow only the minimalistic rituals that have been passed down to us, and which have suited us.

Most of us today associate Dhanteras with buying something of metal signifying the bringing home of prosperity. In actuality this is only a small part of it.  Here’s some more about this festival -
Dhanteras
Dhanteras is the first day of the Diwali celebrations. It is celebrated on triyodashi (ie. on the 13th tithi ) of Krishan Paksha in the month of Kartik. It is widely celebrated in North and West India. This year Dhanteras is on 9th November.
Dhanteras marks the end of the Diwali shopping, and the beginning of the Diwali celebrations. Diwali Puja starts on Dhanteras, continues through Chhoti Diwali, Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dhooj.  Traditionally it starts with decorating the house with rangoli, and inviting the Goddess of Wealth, Lakshmi into the house. Tiny footsteps in vermillion are made indicative of Her coming into the house. Her picture or idol is cleaned and decorated. A must buy on this day is something in metal (preferably a utensil) to be blessed by Her on this auspicious day.  Some families perform Lakshmi Puja on this day, but most perform it on Diwali night. Homes and offices are decorated and rangoli are made to welcome the Goddess.
Dhanvantari Puja is held on this day for the blessings of the Divine Physician, Dhanvantri, for the health of all the family members. He is believed to eradicate all diseases.
Cows are worshipped on this day, and food is given to them as they are significations of prosperity.
Traditionally, the main water containers are scrubbed clean, the clay water pot is changed on this day, and decorated with a tika and flowers.
Another lost tradition is of the Yamadeepan.  Yamadeepdaan is a must in each house as it is believed to ward off untimely death in the family. Lamps dedicated to Yamraj, the God of Death, are left burning all night long.
Some families also light a lamp for their ancestors on Dhanteras and float it down a river. In South India, Yama Tarpanam is performed on Narak Chaturdasi (chhoti Diwali), by offering Tarpan to the dead relatives.
Earthen diyas are lit at the entrance to banish evil spirits.
Dhanteras is the auspicious day for prayers and celebrations for the wealth and prosperity in all aspects of life for all members of the family.

Scorpios born in November

Dear Isheeria’s Healing Circles Reader,
scorpio-nov
If you are born between 1st Nov. — 22nd Nov. you are a Scorpio, and ruled by Mars and Jupiter- thus making you a bundle of contradictions, and very difficult to fathom. These two diverse influences pull you in opposing directions making your life turbulent and difficult. It is a very rare Scorpion who can walk the middle path and find contentment.
Mars makes you a volatile, vengeful, angry, stubborn, moody, withdrawn, and manipulative. Jupiter makes you social, wise, philanthropic, making you go out of your way to help others.
Mars makes you vengeful, vindictive and violent. You do not wish to compromise. It makes you moralistic, judgmental, quick to the draw, and with a temper.
Jupiter makes you wise beyond your years. Tactful. You do not like confrontations. You would rather go out of your way to avoid strife, and tend to be the peacemaker in any confrontation.
To find peace within yourself you will need to find the middle ground.  The middle path between aggression and always giving in and compromising. The answer is to self-analyze yourself and every situation. See it from the others’ point of view. Learn to let go. If you manage to get grips on your temper and control it, you would have found a way to a successful life.
Blessed Be!
