Review: Secret of the Master

Secret of the Master (The Master of Books Series Book 2)
Dear Isheeria's Healing Circles Reader & Fellow Book Lovers,
Welcome to my Book Review for :

Secret of the Master by Robert J. Fluegel

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED & ENJOYED READING THIS BOOK!

This is Book 2 in the fantasy - adventure THE MASTER OF BOOKS series by the Author Robert J. Fluegel.
For a Book Lover there is no greater joy than to dive into a story & live it :)
He does a fantastic job of story telling! so much so, that I felt I was indeed there, living inside the story :) I enjoyed the writing style thoroughly .... absorbing & funny.
See this excerpt:

The story follows a group of young (not-so-young-coz-have-lived-many-many-book-years) adventurers - I have no other word to describe them - They are fun, gutsy, smart & adventurous!

Each character is different - personality-wise, skills-wise, attitude-wise and even sense of humour-wise - so, the way they work together as a team is very interesting to see.

The development of their friendship and trust with each other is written beautifully, naturally. I am so curious about what is next for this menagerie (= diverse collection of people).
I highly recommend this book -It's a clean, fun, well written story about adventure & fantasy. You can get your copy on Amazon.in

I look forward to : the next in this series and More works by this author.
Cheers to being a reader!
May you dream of books & words,

THE PINE FOREST Releases TODAY!!

Dear Isheeria’s Healing Circles Readers & Book Lovers,
Very excited to share the Release of Book 2 – THE PINE FOREST in THE IRIDESCENT REALM Series. I have enjoyed book 1, and have been waiting with bated breath for the release of the next in the series (my review up super soon). PS: I LOVE the Cover ðŸ™‚

One touch, one spark, two lives forever changed.
Pine and Azure. The war between the two kingdoms lasted far too long. Peace was finally established, but the survivors would never forget who fought on the front lines. Oliver Sage had a reputation for being a ruthless knight. He’d seen enough death to last a lifetime and worked on putting the past behind him, although not all would let him forget.
Addison was the only daughter of King and Queen Azure. With three brothers, she knew she’d always be protected, but she also wanted to learn how to take care of herself. She was strong, had a good heart, and wanted to be treated as an equal. Magical abilities ran in her family, and she had one no one knew of.
Oliver had given his heart to one princess, until the night he dreamed of another. Addison was the last woman he should desire, especially given who she was. However, what if she wanted him as well? They’d hated each other their entire lives, but suddenly couldn’t resist the desire which built between them. There were also those who didn’t think they should be together. Forbidden romance could only stay hidden for so long in the dark depths of the Pine Forest.

Michelle Dare is a romance author. Her stories range from sweet to sinful and from new adult to fantasy. There aren’t enough hours in the day for her to write all of the story ideas in her head. When not writing or reading, she’s a wife and mom living in eastern Pennsylvania. One day she hopes to be writing from a beach where she will never have to see snow or be cold again.

Book Review : Colourful Notions – The Roadtrippers 1.0 by Mohit Goyal
Honest Confession: I LOVE travel stories… travelogues, time travel, fictional & non-fictional travel trips. I even love travel movies… so, this book was but a natural choice ðŸ™‚
What attracted me? – The lure of a good travel stories involving 3 friends. 2 guys and a girl – now that’s interesting and different and potential for all sorts of drama!
What I liked about the Cover – reminded me of R.K  Laxman cartoons
[p.s. – did u notice how i have made this a separate input – since you know, and I know, that I WILL comment on the cover! ðŸ˜‰ ]
The story started off well enough, with the expected drama of Delhi-ites, parents and the chaos called ‘indian families and friends’. And when in the 1st percent of the book you find a quote like this – well, you know you got the right book in your hands ðŸ™‚

The story takes you through an ambitious road trip, the ups and downs of the THREE protagonists – their relationships, comradeship and chemistry. The description of interactions with each other, people and places is written well, almost poetic in some places.
Some passages are so real, I almost feel like he has put in words how I would feel in that moment too – while in AWE of something lovely, yet aware of my basic uneasiness…
…standing on the riverbank and capturing the diyas floating and the crowd raising lights. It looked divine. It’s funny, coz we hated standing there amidst the crowd…
To be honest, in between the story, I was p-r-e-t-t-y irritated with Abhay (come on dude! Get it together!) – but then as I read on and the story unraveled – it got interesting again – A Journey –  literally and figuratively ðŸ™‚
I FEEL for The Little Beast ðŸ™‚ and so glad it got to see some of the world beyond dilli-ki-galiyan! Actually, I feel we ALL need to travel – go beyond – even if, as in my case, it is an armchair journey!
The Highlight for me was the very interesting encounter they have (towards the end) with a totally unexpected stranger who talked so so much sense that I ended up highlighting sections for my own future reference! (Who would have thought I would get to learn some wisdom from an entertaining book), and had a light bulb go off, same as it did with Abhay & Sasha.
The ups and downs in the trip and with these 3 made it an entertaining read.
Many a times a wished I could pack my bags and join this adventurous silly lot!!! well, the next best thing, I read about them ðŸ™‚

Review: Dragon's First Christmas

Dragon's First Christmas Dragon's First Christmas by Emily Martha Sorensen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An unimaginally sweet book. It is so well written, that it is totally believable, and at times one can be forgiven for forgetting that Virgil is actually a dragon baby, and not a human one. But what an adorable handful. A thoroughly enjoyable book, i just wish it had been longer.I'm really looking forward to the next in the series.

Review: Murder Rites

Murder Rites Murder Rites by Ronald J. Yarosh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A beautifully written book, with an amazing twist at the end. Johnny Sundance's character is so well delineated, that it is not at all surprising that he could solve a cold murder case within a few days of being handed over the assignment. A well crafted, enjoyable book Murder Rites is a must read for the fans of the mystery/ detective genre.

Review: Amish Second Chance Box Set 1 - 3

Amish Second Chance Box Set 1 - 3 Amish Second Chance Box Set 1 - 3 by Sandra Becker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A beautiful story about second chances in life....about faith, and trust in God. About picking up the pieces and moving on with your life.... and not giving up. Not in relationships, and not in hope. Sandra has beautifully depicted the characters of Hannah, Benjamin, and his daughter Miranda- their fears, doubts, and hopes, and their longing for a second chance at happiness. A lovely insight into the Amish family and life.

2017 - Your Personal Year- Predictions (by: Numerology)

2017 - Your Personal Year- Predictions (by: Numerology)

Dear Isheeria’s Healing Circles Readers,
We have seen ‘Predictions’ for the new year pop up all over, and if you are like me, you have clicked away and read them all up – glad about the good stuff, hopeful the not-so-good stuff is not meant for you per se J
Based on Numerology, here is a method to know what this year will be for YOU, personally.
First, you need to calculate your number for 2017--------------
Add your date of birth + your month of birth + 2017. Reduce the total to a single digit.
E.g. If you were born on 1st January, then you add: 1 +1 + 2+0+1+7 =12 = 3. This is your Personal Year number for 2017. Now, go to the prediction for PY-3 & read all about your personal year ahead.
PREDICTIONS FOR YOUR PERSONAL YEAR NUMBER -
Personal Year 1 (PY-1)
This is a year of changes, at many levels, in your life.
A change of place, of environment, of work, of attitude. Your horizons will widen, as will your circle of friends and acquaintances.
This is a year of movement, of turmoil, and of chaos to some extent. The change and movement is inevitable, so embrace it and go with the flow.  For, rest assured, you will come out of it smiling.
A note of advice:  The year will be all the smoother if you have a positive approach. Embrace the opportunities that come your way!!

Personal Year 2 (PY – 2)
This is a year to assimilate the changes of the last year, to make choices and to compromise.
You will need to make difficult choices, and learn to bring your life into balance once again.
Make your decisions carefully.
There will be help from unexpected sources.
You are likely to forge new relationships which will last life- long.
A note of advice:  Do not procrastinate, as otherwise, others will make the decision for you!!

Personal Year 3 (PY – 3)
This is a year to express yourself, to be creative, to step out of your comfort zone. To expand your horizons, and to move forward.
This is not the year for major decisions, moves, or changes. It is the time to gradually evolve and come into your own.
A note of advice:  Don’t get so caught up in yourself that you start to take others for granted. This could lead to your losing them!!

Personal Year 4 (PY – 4)
This will not be an easy year. There will be unexpected developments. You will feel as if you are going around in circles and not achieving much.
The end of the year will give you results of your hard work and perseverance.
This is a year to strengthen your foundations. Pay attention to details and to the opportunities that come your way.
A note of advice:  Don’t ignore or sweep issues under the carpet, whether they are issues regarding your health, finances, or relationships.

Personal Year 5 (PY – 5)
This is the year you come into your own. You will consciously adapt and change your environment and circle. You will want to step up. You will have the motivation, the opportunity, and the energy to make the desired changes. And there will be opportunities galore.
A note of advice:  Don’t lose touch with the practicality of life. Stay grounded!!

Personal Year 6 (PY – 6)
This is a year when your focus will be on home and family. On renovations, decorations, and                      celebrations . On finding your life partner, on settling down.  Marriage.
This is a year to focus on yourself and on your relationships.
A note of advice:  Don’t get carried away. Set sensible boundaries. Keep yourself grounded!!

Personal Year 7 (PY – 7)
This year you will be in an introspective mood.
You will try and assess your path in life, and the choices and decisions that you made.
The changes this year will be within yourself. Solutions will not come easily.
At the last minute, someone will step up and help you- whether by helping you sort out the problem, or by helping you find the solution.
A note of advice:  Don’t lose hope, as the issues will be resolved. And you will be the richer from this experience!!

Personal Year 8 (PY – 8)
This is the year to reap the rewards of the efforts that you have been putting in.
This year will showcase the results of the choices and decisions you have made so far.
This is a time of opportunities, of expansion, of growth.
Be practical, but think and plan big.
A note of advice:  This is your year. Go grab it!!

Personal Year 9 (PY – 9)
This is the year you come full circle. Reassess your life.
Learn to let go of anything that has lost its usefulness, or that pulls you down.
This is a dynamic year of decisions and changes.
What you take forward from here will impact your life for the next 10 years. Don’t do anything with an overtly selfish motive.
A note of advice:  Be tolerant and compassionate. Be patient.

“You have the ability to choose which way you want to go. You have to believe great things are going to happen in your life. Do everything you can – prepare, pray and achieve – to make it happen” – Ben Carson.

Review: Wind Catcher

Wind Catcher
Wind Catcher by Jeff Altabef
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was totally riveted to this book. The title Wind Catcher caught my imagination, but there was no way that i could have stretched it so far. Juliet on the one hand is a typical teenager trying to fit in and be one of the crowd, but she is aware of her outside status as an American Indian. While struggling to reconcile these two aspects of her life she is thrown another great whopper.... that she is the chosen One. I am so relieved that the 2nd ( and 3rd) in this series are already in print.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love the Kate Redman series and this book does not let you down. Everyone has secrets, and you suspect everyone (except Kate ofcourse). And the ending is fabulous....not at all what one would expect, and not all neatly tied up either. This is another real good one from the pen of Celina Grace.

Review: The Bitter Taste of Betrayal

The Bitter Taste of Betrayal The Bitter Taste of Betrayal by CeeCee James
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Bitter Taste Of Betrayal is my first CeeCee James book, and i was hooked right from the first page. And the book just got better once it went back to where it all started.A fast paced mystery with well defined characters, and a plot which takes a twist at every turn as Elise stumbles from one situation into another, and a cruise trip so beautifully and vividly portrayed that you feel as though you are there. This is one author whose books i know i will enjoy!

Review: Fox Among Wolves: A Romantic Suspense Military Thriller

Fox Among Wolves: A Romantic Suspense Military Thriller Fox Among Wolves: A Romantic Suspense Military Thriller by Rowanna Green
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Fox Among Wolves is a fast paced book which kept me on my toes. Ginny is a totally believable character, well brought up, educated, and theoretically street smart. And this combination makes the bizarre situation believable, and leaves you guessing as to who really are the Good guys and who are the Bad guys....in turn you suspect all of them. A totally convulated tale which makes you want to read it in one sitting to work it all out and get to the bottom of it. On the whole a great read!
